Hoppy Pets is an independent retailer of pet products and accessories.
Rob and Amanda decided to set up Hoppy Pets in 2022. With an ever growing family of rescue rabbits, we wanted people to have somewhere they could go to where 100% of the products were going to be safe for rabbits and where rabbit parents could have peace of mind when shopping for their pet. So Hoppy Pets was born!
We are based in Wiltshire and ship across the UK and have 10 rescue rabbits of our own. We are very passionate about the welfare of rabbits in particular and aim to only stock only safe treats and toys. We will never sell anything with nuts, seeds, glue, pins, colourings or honey.
We specialise in forage, enrichment, treats and toys for rabbits and guinea pigs.
Our Values
At Hoppy Pets we have never and will never sell animals. We are pro rescue and love to help different rescues each month through fundraisers such as raffles, competitions and prize draws. Our dream is to have Hoppy Pets stores nationwide, promoting the space needed for pets (even the small ones!) and the time and cost involved. We would also love to promote the wonderful rescues and what they do each and every day to help these animals and be able to put our customers in touch with them when looking for a new pet.
Fundraising
Each month we help rescues with items for their fundraisers. With never ending vet bills, vaccinations, neutering and daily care, they need our support now more than ever.
Raising welfare awareness
We support welfare charities like the RWAF as well as giving information on the care of animals within our product decriptions and on our website and social channels.
Providing only pet safe treats and toys
With ten rescue rabbits of our own, we have become experts in rabbit and guinea pig welfare. It is important to provide enrichment and fun, safe toys for our pets. We only stock safe, natural and healthy treats, which will not harm your pets if given as treats in the recommended quantities.
RWAF WELFARE CAMPAIGN
The UK is experiencing the worst rabbit rescue crisis ever. As the nation’s leading rabbit welfare charity, the RWAF have launched an urgent appeal for people to support their breeding amnesty and Adopt Don’t Shop. It’s vital to help the country’s overwhelmed rescue centres to re-home the pets in their care.
